“I hired Matt and his crew for my basement foundation waterproofing. The water started around January and became a real problem during rainfall so I needed to address it but wanted to make the right decision. I took my time, saw about 6 different water proofing companies from February – April, but in the end chose EM Waterproofing because if they’re obvious years experience, fair pricing, no nonsense approach and experienced crew. Some of them with this company for decades. The work took two days. They were clean efficient, polite, and very experienced as anyone can see. Matt was amazing as far as explaining everything, communicating when I needed to, addresses all my concerns as they came up and got the job done right. Including putting the grounds back to look very much pleasing. I am very happy and satisfied with my choice and the work done. would highly recommend them to anyone. Definitely have to be careful out there when choosing a waterproofing contractor, that’s why I took the time to write this review.“

“Great work, easy to communicate with and the only company to not make unnecessary suggestions/extra work we didn’t need. They confirmed appointment the day before, were on time and asked questions and kept me appraised to progress until work was done. Even though a good chunk of our yard adjacent to the house was dug up fir waterproofing the basement, they put plants, dirt and brick path back in place and everything looks good as new.“

“I wanted to update my review about six weeks later. I am still so happy with the job E & M Waterproofing did on our home. It’s been snowing so much and lots of rain and melting so glad we are still dry. I am so glad we did not go with the company that viewed me only as dollar signs and wanted to go with a nuclear solution like a french drain that would have just let water continue to flow into my basement and be pumped out. It may not have even worked and I was going to have to replace all tile/dry wall in my basement.
Eddie suggested the problem be tackled from the outside rather than the inside.
Eddie from E & M waterproofing, the owner is so straight forward, calm, cool, and collected. He has been in business a while, since 1979!
I even like that his name is Ed like my dad and brother. It was like talking to my dad about a home problem. He even gave me some ideas on how to extend the sprinkler system covers and grade dirt a bit more away from the home to help with drainage. (I never would have even thought to do this.)”

“Eddie came early this morning on a recommendation. He wasn’t trying to up-sell us anything or talk us in to any overkill remedies for our basement.
Was completely straight and told us that the basement is fine, to do some grading of the dirt outside and tweaks on the gutters. Said he doesn’t want to waste our money on something we don’t need.

“i am a tough critic and normally visibly and verbally dissatisfied with customer service and experience. E&M Waterproofing is the exception. Ed is fabulous and their work is top notch. After doing some work for us months ago we had what we thought was a problem with flooding. turns out it was not flooding. Ed was here in 15 minutes to diagnose the situation, find the problem, (faulty de-humidifier) and leave happily without any charge. He is the best!!!“

“I had a crack repaired earlier this morning by E&M waterproofing. They were punctual, professional and Eddie even showed up to the job site which I appreciated. If I ever decide to fully finish my basement…there is no doubt that I would call them.
Their prices are fair ( even got a second quote ) and come with a 10 year warranty…at least for my service.
